Missile Factory

Missiles in ShadowOps have the ability to cause massive destructive power, they have the ability to destroy ships, resources, platforms, and even the ability to effect ship return times.

The first thing that you will see on the 'Missile Factory' page is information on what missile you are building (if any), this information includes the name of the missile, and how many revs it will take to complete the missile, it is worth noting that you can only build one missile at a time.

Underneath that you will see a table of information on all the missiles in ShadowOps, this information includes, the missiles name, how many of each missile you currently own, how much it will cost you to build each missile (money, deterium and power), how many revolutions it will take to build each missile, and if you have the missile researched, there will be a button for you to construct each missile (if you have not researched a missile, instead of a button to construct the missile you will just see the words 'Not researched').

There are three types of missile in ShadowOps, defensive missiles (interceptor missile and advanced interceptor missile), user missiles (EMP missile and deterium missile), and system missiles (gravity well missile and nova missile). Defensive missiles are used to defend against on-coming missiles attacks from both users and systems. User missiles can be fired from either the players account or they can be donated to the system and used in a system missile attack, unfortunatly system missiles can only be used in a system missile attack, because of this any system missiles being built will be sent straight to the system treasury when completed.

Missiles fired via the 'Attack' page.

You can only fire EMP missiles and deterium Missiles via the attack page. If you choose to fire missiles via the attack page you will be able to target whoever you like within the galaxy, they will also hit the user instantly.

Missiles fired via the 'Command Room'.

You can fire EMP missiles, deterium missiles, gravity well missiles and nova missiles via that command room. You can only fire missiles through the 'Command Room' when you are at war with a system, and they will only be able to be fired at the system you are at war with. Missiles fired through the command room will take 6 revs to hit the system, this is shortened to 2 revs if your system has the ICBM missile facility experimental built. EMP missiles and deterium missiles will hit random users in the system, gravity well missiles and nova missile will effect all members in the system.

Offensive Missiles

There are several types of offensive missiles, each with a different cost and ability. Below is all the information you will need on each offensive missile.

Missile nameEMP missileBuild time (revs)24 revs
Type of researchPlayer researchSRP's required to research5,000,000 (5 million)
Building materials requiredMoney image15,000,000Deterium image15,000,000Power image15,000,000
Missile description
This missile will destroy 15% of all docked starships and fighters and sets all power required stations to offline, except for missile defence system.

Missile nameDeterium missileBuild time (revs)24 revs
Type of researchPlayer researchSRP's required to research1,500,000 (1.5 million)
Building materials requiredMoney image13,000,000Deterium image12,000,000Power image15,000,000
Missile description
This missile will destroy 50% of all deterium mines the player owns and destroys the players current deterium storage. This missile DOES NOT effect deterium makers.

Missile nameGravity Well missileBuild time (revs)48 revs
Type of researchSystem researchSRP's required to research10,000,000 (10 million)
Building materials requiredMoney image16,000,000Deterium image16,000,000Power image15,000,000
Missile description
This missile will generate an gravity well on the system it hits, this makes return times 20% longer for that system. The first missile will generate the gravity well for 12-24 revs, any addition gravity well missiles that hit will add 1-24 more revs onto the existing gravity well.

Missile nameNova missileBuild time (revs)72 revs
Type of researchSystem researchSRP's required to research35,000,000 (35 million)
Building materials requiredMoney image30,000,000Deterium image30,000,000Power image30,000,000
Missile description
This missile will destroy 1% of all platforms in the system, 1% of all fleets in the system, and it will also destroy a certain amount of all the resources in the system (please note that these stats may not be 100% accurate).

Defensive Missiles

Offensive missiles are capably of causing mass destruction, unless you have defensive missiles to stop them. Below is all the information you will need on each defensive missile.

Missile nameInterceptor missileBuild time (revs)6 revs
Type of researchPlayer researchSRP's required to research250,000 (250 thousand)
Building materials requiredMoney image1,000,000Deterium image1,000,000Power image500,000
Missile description
You will need 1-3 interceptor missiles to stop 1 user missile (EMP missile or deterium missile), it is worth noting that these missiles can be donated to the sector treasury only, and therefore cannot be used to protect the system against system missiles.

Missile nameAdvanced Interceptor missileBuild time (revs)12 revs
Type of researchPlayer researchSRP's required to research1,000,000 (1 million)
Building materials requiredMoney image8,000,000Deterium image5,000,000Power image2,000,000
Missile description
You will need 1 advanced interceptor missile to stop 1 user missile, these missiles can be donated to the system treasury, and are the only defence againse system missiles, although it will take 2 advance interceptor missiles to stop 1 system missile.
