This guide has been designed and created to teach you everything that you need to know about ShadowOps, whether your a new player just starting out wanting to know everything, or an experienced player wanting to refresh your memory, this guide is for you.

The 'Message Inbox' stores all your messages that are sent to you in-game, messages last for approximatly three days before they are deleted by the server, so make sure you read them and write down any useful information before this occurs.
Each message is above the previous one, decending down the page, the oldest message will be at the bottom of the list, and the newest message will always be at the top.
I will now go through what you will find on each message, and what order you will find it in.
At the top of the message you will see the time that the message was sent (by the sender) and recieved (by yourself), it's instant so there is only one time and date.
Underneath that you will find the message itself.
After the message itself you will see who sent it. On the left hand side of the senders name you will find their current rank (if any), you will first see the picture corresponding to there current rank, you will then see, in 'Green', the users current rank in words (more information on ranks can be found in the 'Profile' section of this help site). Next to the senders current rank you will see the senders kingdom name and then their location (system and sector), if a player or BOT sends you a message their name will show up in 'Grey', if a moderator sends you a message, their name will show up in 'Orange', and finally if an admin sends you a message, their name will show up in 'Red', so if a player sends you a message saying that they are an member of the moderating team, or admin team, and there name is not the right colour, report them straight away (how to report a message is shown below).
On the far right hand side of the message will be a separate box containing three words 'Delete', 'Reply', and 'Report'.
The first button, 'Delete', will delete that message.
The second button, 'Reply', will take you to the message user page, giving you the chance to reply to that message (more information can be found on the 'Message User' page of this help site).
The final button, 'Report', should only be used if you feel that this message is abusive towards you, or implies that the sender has broken one of the rules. Reporting the message will give the moderator a chance to read through it, and take the necessary action towards the player who sent the message. The 'Report' button on the other hand should not be used to report BOT messages (messages sent from a user from the system (16:X)), or any message that is not actually breaking a rule or abusive towards you, this can get yourself locked.
You must also remember that when you click the 'Report' button, you must click the 'Confirm Report' button, this will confirm that you are reporting the message to the moderators, if this button is not clicked, then the report will not be confirmed and no action can be taken.
Finally at the very bottom of the page, you will see a button giving you the chance to delete all of your messages in your inbox, this CANNOT be reversed.
